3 Days Backpacking Through The Red River Gorge

The Red River Gorge has a lot of really cool lookouts and cliffs. It's one of my favorite places to go backpacking. While it may not be the biggest, int's definitely a great spot for seeing some views. Because of the number of exposed rocks and cliffs, the Red River Gorge has some of the best views in the Appalachian Mountains. I am Super happy I was able to go back to the Red to backpack again. In case you want to do the same route we did: Rock Bridge Trail to Swift Camp Creek Trail Swift Camp Creek Trail to Campsite, roughly 6.3 miles in (night 1) Campsite to Rough Trail Stay on Rough Trail till Hansen's Point Trail, roughly 7 miles in (no trail marker Hansen's Point Trail to Campsite (Night 2) Campsite to Rough Trail Rough Trail to Gray's Arch Trail Gray's Arch Trail to Gray's Arch Parking Area 16-17 Miles Enjoy!
