The composite veneers process: 1. Initial consultation & 3D scan We’ll discuss your smile, what you would like to change and the result you would like to achieve. We’ll then take photographs and a 3D scan to help us plan your treatment and begin designing your new smile. 2. Smile design & mock-up At your next appointment, we’ll review the proposed design together and make any necessary changes. In some cases, we can also create a temporary mock-up so you can see how your new smile could look before the final treatment. 3. Final fit appointment Once you’re happy with the design, we’ll choose the shade and begin creating your composite veneers. Depending on your treatment plan, your veneers may be created using an injection moulding technique or built directly onto the teeth using a freehand technique. Each tooth is carefully shaped and polished, with final adjustments made to achieve the planned result. 4. Review appointment A couple of weeks later, we’ll invite you back to check how you’re getting on with your new smile and provide a retainer to help protect your teeth at night.
