Inside a Renovated Vintage Luxury Apartment in Central Tokyo ($1M)

Property information: https://apts.jp/buy/properties/pr8212... Sold already, but happy to show you similar properties any time! What does $1,000,000 get you in central Tokyo? Instead of a small new-build unit, we tour a freshly renovated vintage luxury apartment from 1986: 107.8 m², three bedrooms and a 32.6 m² rooftop terrace with views of the Tokyo skyline. The building is in a quiet residential area of Shinjuku City (Shimo-Ochiai), 11 minutes from Mejiro Station on the JR Yamanote Line, between the major hubs of Shinjuku and Ikebukuro. It was built at the height of Japan's economic boom, so it shows what luxury looked like in the Showa era, and it is a solid reinforced-concrete building. Inside, it has been freshly renovated, with a few vintage touches kept.
