All rights belong to the original copyright holder and are used for commentary and public discussion. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐簡介： 凡以基督為首位、掌王權的，政教關系這一領域也不例外。必須明白神在其中的旨意，才不致中了撒但的詭計，被世界迷惑，虧缺神的榮耀。基督是萬王之王，天上地上一切權柄都已賜給祂；這作王的功能，是借著教會表達的。因此在政教關系里，也要讓神的道掌王權、居首位。若以為教會的建立與國家政治的清明、腐敗的清除毫無關系，就還沒有弄清何為政教關系。 所謂“政”，不是望文生意的“政治”。政是指政權、政府與政治管理，英語稱為 State、Government：Country 是自然形成的國家與領土，State 是行使主權的國家。這權柄在世俗範圍內行使，管理這世代的世俗事務，所以稱為 Secular。“教”是指教權，卻不一定由教會施行。教是一種信仰或意識形態，不必是基督教，也可以是印度教、猶太教、馬列主義、儒家、佛教、道教，包括無神論。無神也是一種相信，不能等於科學；科學從未證明沒有神。真正的科學是在基督信仰的土壤里長出來的。課本里“中世紀黑暗、科學戰勝宗教”的說法是扭曲的；教皇與伽利略之爭，是兩個都要做科學的人在具體觀點上的分歧。中國並無所謂中世紀黑暗，科學卻並未由此產生，唯物論“物質第一、意識第二”也不能自圓其說。人生信仰就是教。馬列主義、共產主義從不回避自己是信仰，因此也是一種教。 Wherever Christ is given first place and exercises kingship, the sphere of church and state is no exception. God’s will in that sphere must be understood, or we fall into Satan’s schemes, are deceived by the world, and come short of the glory of God. Christ is King of kings; all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Him. His kingly work is expressed through His church. In church–state relations, therefore, the word of God must reign and hold first place. To treat the establishing of the church as unrelated to a nation’s political integrity, or to the clearing away of corruption, is to have missed what the relation of church and state actually is. What is meant by “政” is not “politics,” as a glance at the character suggests. It means political power, government, and political administration—in English, state and government. A country is a nation and territory formed naturally; a state is a nation that exercises sovereignty. This authority is exercised in the secular sphere, managing the secular affairs of this age; hence it is called secular. “教” means religious authority, but that authority is not necessarily exercised by the church. It is a faith, or an ideology, and it need not be Christian. It may be Hinduism, Judaism, Marxism, Confucianism, Buddhism, or Taoism, and it includes atheism. To believe there is no God is still a belief. Atheism is not science. Science has never proved that there is no God, and there is no theorem that proves atheism. True science grew in the soil of the Christian faith. The textbook story of a dark Middle Ages in which science defeated religion is a distortion. The dispute between the pope and Galileo was a disagreement over a concrete scientific view between two men who both wanted to pursue science. China had neither Christianity nor that so-called darkness, yet science did not arise there; and the materialist claim that matter is first and consciousness second cannot hold together. A faith for life is a teaching.
