Grim Dawn 1.2.1.6 - Cold Fire Strike + Amarasta's Blade Burst Saboteur (Demolitionist + Nightblade)

GrimTools Build ID: VLJJ9lON (can't be bothered to deal with YouTube verification for external links) So the only other Demolitionist skills I haven't tried are Canister Bomb and Mortar Trap. Mortar Trap has absolutely 0 support for cold, so that's out. Canister Bomb has support in the Arcanum Frigus pistol, but there's no way to sort out Pierce to Cold conversions for it properly without costing you a lot in terms of items. I assume the logic is that Nightblade has Pierce support anyway, so you should just accept it as it is. I didn't like the idea so I'll probably be doing Fire Canister Bomb instead. Previously, I made a build using twin Mythical Haggardian Enforcer pistols that modify ABB. They also allow Cold Fire Strike, so I figured I'd try it out and compare it to the Cold Infiltrator version. I guess it's probably better as Fire Strike, with enough investment, is stronger than Beronath's Fury. That is only logical, as a single component shouldn't beat out a whole skill with tons of skill points in it. I'm not sure I like this much either though, but I've never been a fan of Fire Strike given how expensive it is. I shoehorned the Namadea's Horn helm into this to get to 100% conversion for Fire to Cold, but you honestly don't care quite that much about that in the end, I think. It probably might be better to get yourself a Ravager Dreadmask or similar. It's going to take a while to get my fire Devotions leveled, so I'll be putting up something instead for the time being.
