http://www.lakevillepanthershockey.com. Lakeville North, which averaged nearly six goals per game in 2015, took awhile to get rolling before recording a 6-2 victory over Eden Prairie. Eden Prairie (19-10) held North to a 2-2 tie after two periods. At 5:43 of the third period, junior forward Max Johnson scored a power-play goal to put North in front. Eden Prairie’s goalie stopped the initial shot by Panther defenseman Jack Sadek but lost track of the rebound. Johnson put it in the net before Durocher could recover. Sophomore Chaz Dufon, who usually plays on the third or fourth line, skated with Lakeville North scoring leaders Jack Poehling and Nick Poehling and benefited from the Poehlings’ pinpoint puck movement to score and make it 4-2. Jack Poehling scored his third goal of the tournament at 13:30 of the third. Henry Enebak scored his second goal into an empty net with 18 seconds remaining. Enebak also scored North’s first goal of the game at 7:45 of the first period. Jack Poehling scored a power-play goal at 4:18 of the second. Lakeville’s quest for a rare unbeaten season and the school’s first boys hockey championship remained intact.
