The Beatles 'I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER' 2026 Remix Gives The Guitars More Room

For the next video I thought that 'I Should Have Known Better' was the right song to be remixed! First off, the drums and bass are centered now too! People often think there is no bass drum because you can't hear any, but actually there is! It is just buried. And for this remix although I boosted the bass drum, it did not work, but that just fits more. I left the acoustic guitar on the left and the harmonica on the right because for the stereo field it belongs there well and as the electric twelve string Rickenbacker is now more centered (because the simple but unique playing deserves its spot there) there was no need for a change-around. For the vocal mix I first wanted to just use the single-tracked vocal, but I did not manage to succeed in demixing both tracks. And instead of a mono-vocal-mix, I left them like before. In between I experimented with separating both vocals even more but eventually it didn't feel right to me, so that now is the result! I hope you liked my remix! Do you prefer the single-tracked vocals or the double-tracked ones? Would a noticeable bass drum destroy its spirit or would it improve the sound?
