Josh Homme on New QOTSA Album Perfecth, Dave Grohl Friendship, and His Viral Rant

Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme stopped by for an exclusive chat with Consequence to discuss the band’s new album, Perfecth, his long-standing friendship with Dave Grohl, and why he’s always up for pushing back against corporate restrictions. Homme broke down key tracks off Perfecth, including the personal breakup anthem "Insignificant Other," the warm psychedelia of "Easy Street" featuring Nikki Lane, and "Where the Goth Girls at?"—reflecting on how a near-death experience at age 12 shaped his appreciation for life. Homme also reflected on his decades-long relationship with Dave Grohl while on tour with Foo Fighters, addressed his headline-making onstage rant at Ford Field against corporate venue rules, and offered his honest thoughts on potential returns for Them Crooked Vultures and Kyuss.
