2026 Rapala BASS Pro Grand Final | Boater Champion Interview with Ben Hay

BEN HAY HAS DONE IT! 🏆🎣 After three massive days of competition at Glenbawn Dam, NSW, Ben Hay has claimed the 2026 Rapala BASS Pro Grand Final Boater Championship, taking home the incredible $30,000 Bluefin Boat Package, complete with Mercury outboard, Humminbird electronics and Green Marine batteries! And what a way to win it! Fishing on his home dam, Ben produced a brilliant final-day performance, weighing a massive 6.965kg five-fish limit to seal his first ABT Grand Final victory. In this exclusive winner's interview, ABT's Steve Morgan catches up with Ben to unpack the techniques, tactics and crucial decisions that delivered the championship. Despite years of fishing Glenbawn Dam and competing in local tournaments, Ben had never managed to claim an ABT victory on his home lake. Now he's done it on the biggest stage of all! With an ABT Angler of the Year title, an Australian Open victory and now a Grand Final Championship to his name, Ben has completed an impressive collection of ABT achievements. There's also one small problem waiting at home... what does a bloke who already owns multiple boats do when he wins another one? 😂 Join Steve Morgan and Ben Hay as they break down a championship-winning performance packed with local knowledge, smart decisions and some seriously good Australian bass fishing. Congratulations to Ben Hay, your 2026 Rapala BASS Pro Grand Final Boater Champion! Thanks to Rapala, Bluefin Boats, Mercury, Humminbird, Green Marine and all the sponsors who make the Rapala BASS Pro Series possible.
