Keep in mind that using F2P units doesn't mean the rune requirements are easy. Hitting 5000 is still a hurdle, as Com2uS has made it quite difficult to achieve without Nat 5s. Quick explainations: Baretta: Chosen for the 19% SPD lead, DoTs, and an S2 that scales with the boss's MAX HP. Tanzaite (Stage 2): Essential to tank and provoke the Twins in wave 1. No other F2P unit can pull this off. Sian (Stage 7): Surviving the boss wave without Alice or an Invincibility buff is basically impossible. I needed a team that could chain invincibility while dealing enough damage to kill the boss. DoT units inherently need to touch the enemy, making wave 2 impossible. (Note: Liebli can replace Sian here). Taurus (Stage 9): Brings similar bomb utility to Sian, but his S3 increases enemy cooldowns. This delays Narsha's S2, which helps Homun survive much longer.
