Ted Ed Fred - Actress of The Year - (Live on letterman late show.) *READ DESCRIPTION*

Performance BreakdownThe Introduction: David Letterman introduces the band with zero irony, holding up the dark, minimalist sleeve of Skamania. He states simply, "Here to perform 'Actress of the Year,' making their network television debut, Ted Ed Fred."The Look: Kurt Cobain stands center stage wearing a tattered, stained 1940s-style evening gown over flannel pants. Krist Novoselic stands perfectly still on the left, while Dave Grohl looks intensely focused behind a heavily stripped-down drum kit.The Visual Tributes: Behind the band, the studio's usual New York skyline backdrop is replaced. In its place hangs a massive, looming black-and-white projection of Frances Farmer's 1936 studio headshot, which slowly distorts and blurs as the track progresses.
