Charlie Brown and Linus ride a bus out to the Daisy Hill Puppy Farm.

Scene from the animated prime-time television special titled Snoopy's Reunion that first aired on CBS on May 1, 1991. Produced in late 1990 to early 1991 by Lee Mendelson and Bill Melendez, it was written by Peanuts creator Charles M. Schulz. The special served as a prequel/flashback episode explaining Snoopy's origins. In this specific sequence, Charlie Brown and Linus ride a bus out to the Daisy Hill Puppy Farm to pick up a puppy. As Linus points out while looking at the records on the ride home, another family had actually purchased Snoopy first and returned him — making Snoopy, as Linus puts it, a "used dog".
