【twinkle*twinkle】 Turn Back Time 「坂上なち(nachi)」

RIO: Wow, just… Wow. Shibayan you have outdone yourself again. I previously mentioned that the longer the better when it comes to Shibayan, well this song further cements my beliefs. For years I never knew of this tracks existence despite having ‘SUPERNOVA’ & ‘So long’ in one of my playlists, well thankfully that has changed upon discovering this tiny little album produced under the guise of ‘twinkle*twinkle!’ As is standard with Shibayan songs, it starts off a little slow but when it gets going, it gets GOING! It’s an extremely captivating experience right to the very end, I genuinely just can’t stop playing this over and over again at the moment. Nachi’s vocals, especially on the chorus, coupled with the mastering is just so damn catchy. You can almost hear an element of time ticking in the song too, which correlates with the song’s title, genius stuff. Must be my favourite original song from Shibayan, certainly from what I’ve heard so far. I certainly wouldn’t mind more songs produced similar to this style, original or arranges, as this is my favourite side of Shibayan.
