GONGKARLA: From Heaven to Extreme Weather | Mago Chuna Bike Ride Some journeys are not just about reaching a destination. They are about the roads that challenge you, the mountains that leave you speechless, the unexpected moments that make you stop, and the memories that stay with you long after the journey is over. They say every beautiful place comes at a price. Sometimes it's time, sometimes it's exhaustion, and sometimes it's the roads you must cross to get there. *This is our journey to Gonkarla (Gongkar La), one of the most breathtaking and challenging places we explored in Arunachal Pradesh.* Our journey begins in the beautiful mountain town of Jang, surrounded by clouds, winding roads and the magnificent Jang Waterfall. From there, we ride towards Mago and Chuna, through some of the most beautiful landscapes we have ever witnessed. Endless valleys, flowing rivers, grazing horses, colourful wildflowers and mountains that seem almost unreal. But as we climb higher towards Gonkarla, everything begins to change. The greenery slowly disappears, the terrain becomes barren, and the beautiful roads turn into broken trails. Freezing winds, rain, a sudden snowstorm and a motorcycle struggling to climb make us wonder whether we'll actually reach our destination. And yet, somewhere between uncertainty, exhaustion and determination, we finally make it to Gonkarla. But reaching Gonkarla wasn't the only thing that made this journey unforgettable. It was the people we met, the beauty we discovered along the way, the challenges we faced, and those small moments that reminded us why we started travelling in the first place. **Manzil toh bas ek wajah thi nikalne ki… Kahaani toh raaston ne likhi.** This film is our attempt to capture what that journey truly felt like.
