Cotton crop management after rainy season | Fusarium wilt fungal disease management in cotton field In this video, I would try to explain all the cotton crop management practices after rains. Such as; Nutrients management Disease management Pests management Cotton plant shows nutrients deficiency symptoms such as yellowing after rains spell so nutrients spray is must after rains. Nutrients formula for foliar spray should be as per this recommendations; Urea 2 kg Zinc sulphate 250 gram Boric acid 300 gram Magnesium sulphate 300 gram Potassium nitrate 200 gram Make solution of these nutrients separately in separate pots and mix them in spray tank. This is quantity for one acre spray. Fungal disease such as Fusarium wilt may attack on cotton crop after rains so cotton growers should follow this disease management strategy or plan; Foliar spray of fungicide such as Fossytile Alluminium 250 gram per acre Fertigation of 2 kg sulphur and 1 kg thiophenate methyl fungicide. After rains, insect pests pressure especially cotton jassid may increase so our growers should control this by Flonicamid 60 gram per acre. If cotton plant leaves show reddening or reddish colour, it is magnesium deficiency symptoms.
