Watch the full process of making a Yunomi cup from start to finish - from throwing soft clay on the wheel to trimming, bisque firing, glazing with a wood ash glaze and high-temperature reduction firing at Cone 10. This ASMR pottery video captures the calm rhythm and tactile beauty of each stage, without narration - just the subtle sounds of ceramics, tools and fire. Each Yunomi takes weeks to complete. Though throwing a cup may only take a few minutes, the entire process includes drying, bisque firing (with dozens of cups loaded together), glazing and reduction firing in a small gas kiln over 13 hours at ~1270°C. All pieces are fired in small batches in a studio setting. I use a simple ash glaze made from wood ash, feldspar, and clay. The final look is always a surprise - shaped by fire, flame path and placement in the kiln. Perfect for pottery lovers, tea enthusiasts, or anyone seeking peaceful process videos with minimal background music and no voiceover. --- *Chapters:* 0:00 Introduction 0:30 Throwing Cup on the Wheel 2:57 Trimming the Final Shape 4:48 Bisque Firing 4:59 Glazing 5:50 Reduction Firing (Cone 10, ~1270°C) 7:23 Unpacking the Kiln & Results --- 🎥 Handmade in my small studio. 🫖 Cup style: Yunomi (Japanese-style everyday tea cup) 🔥 Glaze: Simple wood ash glaze 📦 Firing: Bisque + Gas reduction (13h Cone 10) 🎵 Audio: Soft ASMR - no narration, just sounds --- More handmade ceramics and video content: 🌐 Shop & Website - https://www.oyuceramics.com 🛍️ Etsy Store - https://oyuceramics.etsy.com 📸 Instagram -   / oyu_ceramics
