Robinson Catamaran - great day with swim stops, beaches & lunchtime - Formentor - Mallorca

With the fascinating catamaran and the fantastic crew, it was a great day in the north of Mallorca - between Cap de Formentor and Cap de Pinar in the bay of Pollenca. We left Port de Pollenca harbour at 10 AM and the plan was actually to anchor on the side of Cap de Victoria in a small bay. But the strong north-westerly wind prevented this plan. As compensation, we were able to set sail and almost flew to the other side of the bay of Pollenca at Cap de Formentor into Cala Gossalba. There the water was calm and at 24 degrees Celsius, it was perfect for a refreshing swim. We continued to Formentor Beach, where we enjoyed the turquoise blue water - like a Caribbean feeling! Hungry from the wind and sun, the crew served us a lunch of roast chicken, salad and more. A glass of sangria was of course a must and the nap in the net was very welcome. After another swim stop, we docked back in Pollenca harbour at 3 pm.
