Escaping the crowds of Boulder for a higher-altitude adventure! Today we’re heading up Boulder Canyon to the Betasso Preserve. This local gem offers a beautiful 3.3-mile loop with incredible views of the foothills and the city below. Join me as I grab a nitro cold brew at Ozo Coffee on Pearl Street, navigate the parking at the trailhead, and explore why this is one of the best moderate hikes in the area. Pro-tip for hikers: To avoid mountain bikes, plan your hike for Wednesdays or Saturdays when bikes are not allowed on the trails. In this video, I’ll show you the best benches for taking in the view, break down the difficulty, and share a few tips from my 30 years of hiking in Boulder. Watch my full Boulder Hiking Guide playlist here: [Link to your Playlist] If you’re new to the channel, I’m Pat, and I’ve been exploring these trails for three decades. My goal is to show you the best spots to hike, eat, and caffeinate in Boulder. Don't forget to subscribe to Boulder Day Hikes and hit the bell for more! Coffee.
