Testing the new Carbon Detail Supply line from Ryan Weiss of Fine Detailing, blended with Armor Detail Supply and Armour Blending. Three of the four products, a wash and talk, and me running my DI tank completely dry halfway through.
First, how I got these: Ryan did not send them. Another creator bought the 32 ounce bottles, broke them down, and sent me eight ounces of each. Nothing here was free from Ryan and I am under no obligation to like any of it.
WHEEL AND TIRE CLEANER
Mixed at what he calls medium, 3 to 1, so three ounces of product to nine ounces of water in a Pressol bottle. I also ran it straight in a foam cannon. It foams genuinely well, which I like on a wheel cleaner because the foam buys you dwell time and masks the sun drying it out. No color change, but fast browning on the tires and it went after the dirt properly. On my coated wheels it is about eighty percent spray on, rinse off. The browning reminds me of Total from Ethos, which I rate.
A 32 ounce bottle at 3 to 1 makes roughly a gallon of ready to use.

NEUTRAL SOAP
Two ounces in the cannon, which is inside his recommended one to two, came out thinner than I like. I would go three. But treat that as unfair, because partway through this wash I ran out of DI water and finished on 400 TDS tap. I turned my tank refill off while testing a big DI canister and never turned it back on. I re-tested at the end once the tank filled and it is noticeably thicker on DI water.
Scent is a cologne style smell. Good, not overpowering, just not my thing. I lean fruity.

INTERIOR CLEANER
Mixed 1 to 1. Light foaming action, no gloss or shine left behind, no streaking on the screen or the piano black. Works well on the kind of ordinary dust a car picks up over a couple of months. Same masculine cologne scent, which reminds me of P and S Xpress and Griot's interior cleaner. My guess is those were the reference products when Brad at Armor was formulating it.

The tire dressing is the fourth product and I do not have it yet. I will grab it on the next order.

ON THE PRE-WASH
Bilt Hamber Touch-Less, mixed at the very bottom of its range. Two reasons: my cars are never very dirty, and a thinner mix runs down and pulls bugs out of the grille and the crevices better than a thick snow foam does. Somebody comments on this every video, so there it is.
ALSO IN THIS ONE
A Porsche Club of America drive with the Central Coast chapter, which is an active group and a genuinely good time. And two MINI things: I am wrapping the chrome waistline trim in black vinyl rather than paying six hundred dollars for the black trim MINI will sell you separately but will not fit at the factory. And a PPF lesson. BMW sprays cavity wax inside the panels during manufacturing, and because I wrapped this car before I had really driven it, the wax exit holes are filling up underneath the film. I have had to trim the film back at the corner to let it out. If I did it again I would let the car sit in the sun for a while first.
