Lowrance GPS/Fishfinder - Repair

We were initially sent a Lowrance GPS/Fish Finder from a customer with a no power-on condition. After troubleshooting we located the problem- two shorted electrolytic capacitors in the power supply section of the board. After replacing these caps, the power-on failure was resolved and the unit worked properly. Shortly after the customer received the fixed device they contacted us with a new fault- the device would power on for 5-10 seconds then shut off. As soon as we received the device back, we immediately tested on the bench and were unable to reproduce the customers issue. There are many problems which could cause this issue; power, wiring, accessories, etc. We always strive for 100% customer satisfaction and will work with the customer to help them troubleshoot exactly what is causing their issue.
