Look at your shower glass or tile in the light — that cloudy film you can't scrub off, the pink or black creeping into the corners and grout, the tub that never looks white. You decided it was just an old shower and kept buying stronger sprays. Mija, sit down. Every spray failed you because you've been fighting two enemies with the wrong weapon for both: that film is MINERALS (bonded to the surface — soap can't lift it, only a mild acid dissolves it), and the corners are MOLD (alive — you have to kill it, not wipe it). It was never your scrubbing. Today I show you the old way.
In this video:
• Why your sprays never worked — mineral vs. mold, and why soap can't touch either
• The pennies DIY spray — 1 cup water + 1 cup white vinegar + 1 tsp blue dish soap
• The skipped step that ruins everything — let it DWELL 5–10 min, don't let it dry
• Gentle tools done right — warm the sponge, soft drill brush, razor only for heavy scum
• The textured tub base trick (a thick cream cleanser gets into the grooves)
• The even "sheet" rinse, then DRY it — the step that stops it all coming back
• NEVER use toilet bowl cleaner on a tub (it etches the finish forever)
• The 3 habits that keep it clean: squeegee daily, ventilate, weekly vinegar wipe
No products to sell you, no bottle to push — only the plain knowing that used to pass from a mother to a daughter and has quietly gotten lost. A jug of vinegar and a squeegee do what a whole aisle of sprays never could.
Tell me in the comments if your glass came clear for the first time in years — and your county and how old your house (harder water = worse film). I read every one.
