Vapor Memory : Dreamvapour 1

Vapor Memory presents Dreamvapour, a monthly series devoted to the music of HKE (formerly known as Hong Kong Express). HKE is an experimental electronic artist from London, UK. After over 15+ years of creating music, HKE continues to push boundaries with his art, creating cinematic and unique experiences that can only be described as dreamlike. He is the co-owner of music label Dream Catalogue and a member of the dreamvapour project 2814 with t e l e p a t h テレパシー能力者. He also runs two other music labels: TKX and Nirvana Port. Other projects include Subaeris, Triad Research Laboratories, Sandtimer, and many more. In this edition of Dreamvapour, we start at the year 2014; the beginning of Hong Kong Express. Before this point, the artist presently known as HKE went by another name: Subaeris, a project influenced by future garage artist Burial that predates his introduction to vapour music. This series begins with his first 5 vapour releases, a classic set of influential albums that have helped define the emerging sound of the future known as dreamvapour. —Vapor Memory : Dreamvapour 1— 01.
