Pokemon Yellow Baton Pass Speedrun In 2:56:03 [With OHKO Moves And Manips, Current PB]

I can't believe it. After watching somebody else's run at this, I managed to find some new manips and came up with a huge reroute. I never expected get sub 3 hours myself even with the routing changes. I didn't want to waste time missing the yolo balls and my catch luck was awful as a result (I did so with Dugtrio only due to its low catch rate). New Route (Major Battles Only): Brock: Nidoran Male (Unchanged, slight change to experience route) Misty: Oddish (Unchanged, slight change to experience route) Surge: Geodude (Unchanged, new catch location) Sabrina: Ponyta (Formally Krabby) Erika: Doduo (Formally Dodrio, different manip used) Koga: Exeggutor (Formally Lapras) Blaine: Tentacruel (Unchanged) Giovanni: Zubat (Formally Aerodactyl, not sure if faster) Lorelei: Kingler (Formally Dewgong, different manip used) Bruno: Dugtrio (Formally Rapidash) Agatha: Nidoqueen (Unchanged, new catch location) Lance: Articuno (Formally Articuno + Electrode) Champ: Victreebel + Dewgong (Formally Victreebel, now manip Seel) Champ note: The Dewgong I used needs 2 X Speeds with Flareon Rival and 3 X Speeds with Vaporeon Rival. Yolo Ball Notes (Not sure how consistent the manips are): Nidoran Male: Standard one used in glitchless speedruns Oddish: Yolos with Nidoking in front and animations on (Should yolo ball with Poke Balls, Potions, Bide TM, Rare Candy, would need to check how often you get low Special, would either need level 18 for Starmie or the X Special in the underground path after getting TM 28) Dugtrio: The one I used yolos with Nidoking in front and animations on (I couldn't get the standard one to yolo ball so I found my own, yolos with same items as standard Dugtrio, 10 Attack, 6 Speed, need 3 Carbos to outspeed Hitmonlee, standard Dugtrio outspeeds Hitmonlee outright) Geodude: Yolos with Dugtrio in front and animations on (Poke Balls, Helix Fossil, Rare Candies, Potions/Elixer) From here, I only tested with Great Balls, Super Repels, Rare Candies, and Elixers in the top 4 item slots (May be flexible on some of them). Doduo: Yolos with Dugtrio in front and animations on Ponyta: Yolos with Dugtrio in front and animations off Weepenbell: Yolos with Ponyta in front and animations off Niodoran Female: Yolos with level 33 or less Pokemon in front Exeggcute: Yolos with level 24 or more Pokemon in front Tentacool: Yolos with Exeggutor and animations off (Also yolos with Lapras and animations off, would need to test the level 35 one) Seel: Yolos with Nidoqueen and animations on Krabby: Yolos with Nidoqueen and animations off Zubat: Yolos with Nidoqueen and animations off Articuno can't be manipulated for good stats (I tried, Gyarados is a 2 hit range with 0-2 Special and you need +2 speed with 0-3 speed to outspeed Aerodactyl) Parts of the route and candy route might be flexible (Manipping Dewgong spares 2 candies for elsewhere, manipping Kingler spares it from having to fight the blackbelt in Viridian gym, manipping Dodrio makes Erika safer).
