Dynasty Warriors 5 XL Chaos | Dong Zhou at Mai Castle

Have been watching a lot of DW5 chaos content recently (Ken Nugget and Kyohime in particular), which eventually made me want to play this game again for the first time in many years. Unfortunately a broken memory card has forced me to grind all over again. Starting chaos gameplay with what for me is a good Mai Castle run which I got first try. We see lots of what makes Dong Zhou good - really good crowd killing, consistent S-string fill, good weapon range, good kill confirmation (the Zhu Ling kill in particular is really good) and turning your back while using C6 to break officer's guard (like with Cao Ren at the end). I feel that he rewards mindless aggression, which is exactly how I like to play my mindless button masher. On the other side we also see how his large frame and slow speed makes him a good arrow target and how his musou can't quite kill an officer in one go. His C6 is also not quite safe, so has to be used carefully. I'm certainly not above using the horse to musou fill and kill archers. My token chaining also needs some work. Dong Zhou is probably my favourite 'leader-style' sword user, even if the consensus puts him behind Yuan Shao. Going with wind scroll to maximize the S-string filling, I prefer to not use WOM as I find the ending roll is typically less safe than the belly flop. He hardly needs it against most officers anyway, and with such a good (i.e., attack and no musou) 4th weapon and great peon killing potential demon band is just a more natural fit, giving you more of the benefit of the true musou if you need it. Also I really dislike jump charging in general and typically try to avoid it if possible, not the ideal way to play him probably but still more than good enough here.
