ਇਸ ਕਥਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਅੰਗ 696 ਤੋਂ 698 ਤੱਕ, ਰਾਗ ਜੈਤਸਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਾਮਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਪੰਜ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਾਠ ਤੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਐ। ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸਮਝਾਉਂਦੇ ਨੇ ਕਿ ਨਾਮ ਅਨਮੋਲ ਰਤਨ ਐ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮਨ ਅੰਦਰ ਲੁਕਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਐ ਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਪਛਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਐ। ਕਥਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਨਮੁਖ ਦੇ ਅਗਿਆਨ ਦਾ ਹਨੇਰਾ, ਮਾਇਆ ਰੂਪੀ ਸੱਪਣੀ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਹਿਰ, ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨਾ ਦੀ ਅੱਗ ਤੇ ਨਾਮ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾ ਜਨਮ ਦੇ ਘਾਟੇ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਐ। ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਬੱਚੇ ਵਾਂਗ ਉੱਤਮ ਮੱਤ ਮੰਗਣ, ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਤੇ ਸਾਧ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਧੂੜ ਦੀ ਨਿਮਰ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਸਿਖਾਈ ਗਈ ਐ। ਅਖ਼ੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਐ ਕਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਮ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸੇ ਤਾਂ ਧਰਮ ਰਾਇ ਦੇ ਦਰ ਦਾ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਲੇਖਾ ਨਿੱਬੜ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਐ। This Katha covers Ang 696–698 of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji: the recitation and explanation of five shabads by Sri Guru Ram Das Ji in Raag Jaitsri.
