The Book of Enoch: Its History and Everything We Know | Why It's Not in the Bible

The Book of Enoch is not part of the Bible. So where did it come from, why do so many people talk about it, and why did the church leave it out? This is the full story: the man Enoch in Genesis, who walked with God and never died; the five books written in his name in the centuries before Christ; the Aramaic copies found among the Dead Sea Scrolls; the verse Jude quotes; how the early church weighed it; how it vanished from most of the world and survived only in Ethiopia; and how it was found again. Then we weigh it carefully against God's Word, and ask what Christians should make of it.
