Ann Griffiths - an early 19th century Welsh poet

This video tells of the life of Ann Griffiths (1776-1805) from Dolwar Fach, near Dolanog, Montgomeryshire, following the Ann Griffiths Way footpath. Ann is considered to be one of Europe's leading religious poets. This video features Ann's hymn 'Wele'n Sefyll Rhwng y Mwrtwydd', sung at the Cymanfa Treforus (BBC) 1989, and her poem 'Rhyfedd Rhyfedd gan Angylion', sung by Sian James, accompanying herself on the harp.
