Some of us do not truly realize the value of our parents… until we notice their hair turning white, their voices growing weaker, and the house becoming quieter day by day.
This nasheed is for every son and daughter who still has time to say:
“I love you.”
“Forgive me.”
“Please stay a little longer.”
Behind every strong child was a tired father who carried his pain in silence…
and a mother who whispered du’a for her children while the world slept.
If your parents are still with you… sit beside them while you still can.
One day, we may wish for just one more conversation… one more smile… one more moment.
And if this nasheed touched your heart even a little, remember your parents in your du’a tonight 🤍

📖 English translation :
Hmmmmmm……
Hmmm……
Allah……
Allah……
O Lord…
Protect my father…
And have mercy on my mother…
How many nights…
They stayed awake for me…
How many prayers…
They raised secretly…
My father, who hid his wounds in silence
And walked fighting so I could live honored
He possessed nothing but a patient heart
Yet he gave… and never spoke
Weariness was visible above his eyes
Yet when I hungered… he became a smile
He used to return late at night exhausted
Yet the first thing he asked was: “Did you eat?”
And when I became sick…
I saw fear in his eyes
As though my heart…
Was the heart inside him that suffered
He taught me that men are defined by their principles
And that the best of people are those who serve
My father… my father…
O shelter of my life when I grow weary
My father… my father…
Through you, supplication draws near
Hmmm… Hmmm…
My mother… and what could make you understand the meaning of motherhood
An ocean of mercies… that knows no cruelty
Whenever life became difficult upon us
She hid her tears… and planted strength
How many times…
I heard the sound of her crying
Yet she…
Never complained to anyone
She used to pray…
Then call my name in supplication for a long time
While I was heedless…
Not knowing what she had done
How many times did she sleep while her stomach hungered
So that I could taste… the fullness of blessing
If it is asked: where is love in this world?
I would say: it is the prayer
When it comes from a mother
My mother… my mother…
The gate of Paradise when I am called
My mother… my mother…
Through you, life remains when I cry
Allah……
Allah……
O Lord…
If I ever failed them one day…
Then forgive a servant…
Lost among his sins…
Forgive his sins…
How many times did I raise my voice carelessly
And forget that the pleasure of Allah lies in pleasing them
O my mother…
How many times did I say: “Later”
Then a day passed…
And I never sat beside you
And O my father…
Forgive the harshness of my voice
For by Allah…
I never intended to wound you
Woe to a heart… that hurt the mother
Who used to heal his wounds with her own hands
Indeed I fear the Judgment
Because I was never able to fully repay their goodness
For their prayers… are a light illuminating our darkness
And honoring them… is the gate of salvation and mercy
My parents… my parents…
You are my prayer when I fall
My parents… my parents…
Through you is salvation when I am tested
Testeddd……
I fear the day…
When I call out:
“Mother…”
And no one answers me…
If the voice of the mother disappears… how do we sleep?
And how does life continue… after the departure of a father?
The house after them…
Is no longer a house
Only something made of walls…
And long silence
And laughter after them…
Becomes strange and exhausting
So protect them… before departure comes, for indeed we
Will one day return… searching for those who are gone
If life returned to me…
I would kiss their hands a thousand times
And if the voice of my mother returned…
I would never raise my voice above hers again
My mother…
My father…
Forgive me…
Your mercy, O Lord…
Hmmmmmm……
Allah……
Allah……
