Manali → Jispa | 9 KM Under the Mountains: Atal Tunnel to Lahaul | EP02 Ladakh Ride

Day two of our Himalayan ride. We leave Manali, ride through the Atal Tunnel, nine kilometres right under the mountains, and come out into a completely different world: Lahaul. On the way: hairpins above Manali, mountain dogs, our first close look at snow-capped peaks, the BRO signboards, a tea break at the north portal, Sissu, the colours of the Bhaga valley, our last fuel stop at Keylong before Leh, and a quiet night at Jispa to acclimatise. I also share what we're doing about altitude sickness (AMS) on this climb, and why we didn't ride straight to Leh. 🏍️ Bike: Triumph Scrambler 400X (two-up, fully loaded) 📍 Route: Manali → Atal Tunnel → Sissu → Tandi → Keylong → Jispa 📏 Distance: ~95 km, one big climb ⛽ Fuel: Keylong is the last fuel stop before Leh (~350 km).
