More Electrical 1973 Honda SL125 on 1974 XL125 Frame

2-21-17 I have a plan...I think I need to buy a DC coil for a SL125. Hook the positive it up to the battery and the negative to the points and condenser and give it a kick. If the battery is charged it should fire up. I will worry about charging the battery later. I may be able to use the current AC generator, but will need a rectifier to convert to DC. I may need to buy a SL generator if this one is not adequate. Does anyone know how many AC volts a good generator should produce. I'm getting about 2 volts AC with 1ohm of resistance.
