They spoke against her—but YaHUaH knew the truth.
“You Have Seen What They Concealed” brings the account of Susanna into an uplifting cinematic gospel and neo-soul testimony of courage, vindication, and renewed devotion.
📖 AN ANCIENT SCRIPTURAL ACCOUNT
Susanna is preserved in the Ethiopian Orthodox biblical tradition, whose roots reach back many centuries. Ethiopia’s ancient scriptural heritage includes translations into Ge’ez, the classical language of its church.
This account also appears in the ancient Greek Septuagint tradition associated with Daniel. In some Bibles, Susanna is presented as Daniel chapter 13; in others, it appears separately among the writings commonly called the Apocrypha. Readers whose Bibles omit it may be encountering this story for the first time.
THE STORY
Susanna refuses the demands of two elders who attempt to exploit their authority. They retaliate by falsely accusing her, and the gathering believes their testimony without properly examining it.
Facing condemnation, Susanna cries out to YaHUaH, who knows the hidden things and the truth of her innocence.
Daniel intervenes and challenges the judgment. He separates the accusers and questions them individually. Their conflicting answers expose the deception, and Susanna is delivered.
Her story calls us to consider integrity, abuse of authority, the harm of false accusations, and our responsibility to examine evidence before passing judgment.
💛 MY PERSONAL TESTIMONY
I know the pain of being lied on, remaining humble, and seeing my ALUaH bring forth truth. I refuse to let those accusations define my life. From victim to victor, I am continuing forward.
My Daniel fast became a time to examine my ways. I realized I had been satisfying my physical body while my soul was suffering from malnutrition. Through prayer, Scripture, and renewed commitment, I am seeking the nourishment of the Word.
“I began in the Ruakh. I will continue in the Ruakh.”
With soulful contralto vocals, bright Hammond organ, a steady gospel groove, and a triumphant choir finale, this song celebrates truth coming to light and the courage to keep walking faithfully.
