As the title says, this is a challenge I came up with while playing TwinBee: Rainbow Bell Adventures. The objective was to defeat NiseTwinBee by Jumping only, meaning: No Main Weapons, Laser Shot, Jump Charge Attack, Charged Punch Shots, or anything else; just jumping, much like playing a Mario game. It might look easy, but here’s the thing. NiseTwinBee’s pattern changes depending on the difficulty. In an "Any%" run, the final boss pattern goes in a more manageable way, but in a 100% run, the boss becomes tougher and uses a wider variety of attacks than usual. As someone who has played a lot of video games, this reminds me a lot of Mecha Ridley in Metroid Zero Mission, where collecting every item before the final boss caused him to deal double damage and have increased HP. I’m not sure if NiseTwinBee gets a defense boost, but there’s no denying his attacks become faster, more aggressive, and follow different patterns. It took me a LONG time to pull this challenge off, but I finally did it—and now you’re about to witness one of the most humiliating defeats I’ve ever inflicted on a boss from my childhood game.
P.S.: Don’t worry—even though this channel doesn't have any videos yet despite featuring a “TwinBee” character, I do have plans to make videos about the franchise. I won't make any big promises right now, but it will happen eventually, and when it does, I want to do it with all the love I have for the series.
