Community Shred Days with Urban Impact Recycling

Urban Impact’s Community Shredding Events give local organizations a way to raise funds while providing their communities with a convenient and secure way to dispose of confidential documents. In partnership with Communitas, Urban Impact recently brought its mobile shredding truck to Abbotsford for a community Shred Day. Residents had the opportunity to securely destroy sensitive paperwork right on site, while supporting Communitas and its work in the community. From private documents and financial records to old paperwork that has been piling up, the event offered a simple way to clear out sensitive information — all while giving back to a local organization. Community Shredding Events are one of the ways Urban Impact supports the communities it serves.
