CCA CA10 - Talk about Pleasant Suprises!!!

The KZ Empire has launched yet another IEM, this time the CCA CA10 , an all BA set using the venerable 22955 for the lows, 29689 for mids , 30017 for mid to high transition and finally 30095 / 30019 combo for the highs. All of this has been tuned in a more typical KZ fashion which is a v shape signiture, although truth be told it's been done in a slight better manner than usual and as a result, it does for me at least, make it become an interesting option for someone looking for an all BA set at the price point of below 60usd. The sound is fun, engaging with EDM and even rock, providing loads on "foot tapping". Sure it's not perfect , theres a little too much bass at times, and vocals can be a hit or miss, technical performance acceptable, tonality and timbre more correct than I was expecting, but overall I find it good for what it is .....this isn't a Audiosense DT300, let alone a Dunu SA6 or Softears RSV, so always remember and keep this in mind. Compared to the likes of a TRN X7 its a no brainer choice , while with other options like the KZ ZAS/ CCA CA16Pro or KZDQ6 it keeps up to a certain extent, although if audiophile correctness is your main focus it looses. Finally I compared it to the CRA , "the little train that could " as I like calling it, as it is without a doubt the best ultra budget earphone currently in the market. The CA10 and CRA graph similarly in certain areas ,however the tuning of the CRA is more coherent and it's probably one of the nicest sound V signiture earphones available, and in this comparison the winner!
