1235 Journey Back in Time From Valley of Heart's delight to the Heart of Silicon Valley

#1235 Journey Back in Time showcases the history of Sunnyvale, and informs viewers how a modern city located in Santa Clara county with a population of close to 150,000 looked 150 years ago. Not only is SV one of the major cities comprising Silicon Valley, it is also the location of the headquarters of many technology companies, and home to several aerospace and defense companies. This program chronicles the story of the courage and desperate survival of a family of devout Catholics who sought freedom of religion and educational opportunity in a land far away from their home. They ventured out through rugged terrain to an unknown territory to fulfill their dream. They worked hard and embraced all the challenges that came their way. The land they found in California has grown from a farming community once described as Valley of Heart’s Delight and City of Destiny to the modern ethnically diverse city now known as the heart of Silicon Valley.
