The people who have known you the longest may still relate to a version of you formed years ago: the responsible child, the peacemaker, the rebel, the achiever, or the one who never needed help.
Through a Jungian lens, this video explores how family roles become personas, what those roles push into the shadow, and why changing can feel like betrayal. It also examines the uncomfortable possibility that being misunderstood can become an identity of its own—and why individuation requires integration rather than superiority, rejection, or emotional disappearance.
