The Proper Way to Get Started in RC Drifting (NO RTR)

RTR is not the way to go! Your RC drift experience will be more difficult, more expensive, and less satisfying. Build a proper chassis and get good electronics right out of the gate. You won't regret it. I have reproduced solid results with this setup on the MST RMX2.5 classic, ReveD RDX, HPI Stage D10, and Yokomo RD2 chassis. If you want to upgrade this setup I'd start with improving the motor first followed by the ESC. Do your best to buy from your local hobby store, if not try to buy online directly from dedicated RC drift shops so that your money helps grow the hobby. Thank you for watching, have a great day.
