Around Sun Palasë | Shpella e Piratëve (Pirate's Cave)

Shpella e Piratëve is a natural karst cave along the coast of Dhërmi, on the Albanian Riviera. Located below the hill of the Monastery of Saint Theodore, the cave takes its name from stories of pirates who once used the coastline and its caves as shelter. When the sea is calm, it can be reached by boat and explored from the water. Shpella e Piratëve is just one of the many places that make this part of the Albanian Riviera distinctive and part of the landscape surrounding Sun Palasë.
