Project Team Progress Meetings

Watch what works and what doesn't in how a project manager assesses the project team's progress and makes appropriate course corrections. She learns little from the closed questions asked at the start but much more from open questions about key project criteria; tasks, deadlines, resources, customers and impacts. Getting the team to participate in the assessment and project plan revision leads to a higher level of coordination, buy-in and follow-through.
