The action takes place across a lively town made up of more than 30 locations, including streets, shops, offices, and public buildings. You can switch between five characters — Wally, his wife Wilma, and friends Tom, Dick, and Harry — each with their own jobs to complete. Progress depends on managing time, energy levels, and movement efficiently across the map. Each completed task earns a letter, and collecting them all reveals the password needed to open the bank safe and collect everyone’s wages. The challenge comes from juggling multiple characters, avoiding hazards, and planning the most efficient order to finish every job before energy runs out. The town feels alive thanks to non-playable characters following their own routines, adding unpredictability and depth. A hidden mini-game inspired by Asteroids can also be found in phone booths, adding a surprising extra layer of gameplay. The original cassette release even included a song by Mike Berry, which doubled as the game’s theme tune. Today, Everyone’s a Wally is remembered as one of the most inventive arcade adventures on the Commodore 64. Its colourful presentation, ambitious design, and character-driven gameplay have secured it a lasting place in C64 history. 💬 Did you manage to organise everyone’s day perfectly, or did chaos take over the town? ▶️ PLAYLISTS Mikro-Gen:    • Mikro-Gen – Classic Strategy, Adventure & ...   Creative Sparks / Sparklers:    • Creative Sparks – Classic Arcade & Adventu...   💙 SUPPORT & CONNECT Patreon:   / cheekycommodoregamer   Join:    / @cheekycommodoregamer   Twitter:   / cheekyc64gamer   Facebook:   / cheekycommodoregamer   Discord:   / discord   Website: https://www.cheekycommodoregamer.co.uk #everyonesawally #commodore64 #mikrogen #arcadeadventure #retrogaming
