AMAZING Tree of Life - with Polymer Clay! A real simple TUTORIAL+ Bloopers!

A wonderful creation that you can develop over time, I'm going to make some more of these are there are so many variations! Such a simple technique and many ways to do it! Just as the branches of a tree strengthen and grow upwards to the sky, we too grow stronger, striving for greater knowledge, wisdom and new experiences as we move through life" Video Features -How to roll clay & keep it in a circle! -Scoring and marking clay with a sharp tool -Making the swirl branches -Adding the decorations -Mica and glitter Tools: -Scrap clay -Craft knife -Dotting tools -Blunt tool -Sharp pointed tool (The links for tools shown are below) Baking: Use Polymer Clay packet instructions. Good tip is to bake no higher than 100 degrees celsius. It's better to bake at a lower temperature for longer, than higher for shorter. Larger clay items need longer- always check after 10 mins- sometimes things fall over in the oven & can be rescued at this point. Watch for burning! Especially white as it's quick to burn (don't know why...) and can turn yellow! Electric ovens work better as the temperature is even, gas oven temperatures fluctuate do not keep a steady temp for baking polymer clay.... I don't like to state baking times because all clay is different- there are so many different products and ovens, it's hard to advise....
