Conduct of Goa Foundational Learning Study (GFLS) 2026

The Goa State Council of Educational Research and Training (GSCERT), through the Vidya Samiksha Kendra (VSK), is undertaking the Goa Foundational Learning Study (GFLS) 2026 for students of Grades 1 and 2 across all Primary Schools in the State of Goa. The Goa Foundational Learning Study is being conducted with the objective of obtaining a comprehensive understanding of the foundational learning levels of students in the early grades and to generate reliable evidence regarding their progress in foundational literacy and numeracy. The assessment findings will assist in identifying areas requiring academic support and in strengthening future interventions, planning and monitoring of foundational learning in the State.
