Bus Service 405 under SMRT Operations

In September 2024, SMRT took over bus services under the Jurong West region from SBS Transit. While most bus services have been running since the handover, Bus Service 405 only commerced operations on 26 October 2024. Given the unique seasonal operating pattern of this bus route, SMRT only operated them for a total of 4 days in 2024. Two buses were utilised for each day to run the bus service. This video showcases the buses plying through the unique sector within Lim Chu Kang. 2 November 2024 (All Souls' Day) marked the final day of operations in 2024, and the exact dates of operations in 2025 is currently not released to the public as of the time of writing.
