DISGRACEFUL: How Thugs Attacked, Prevented Peter Obi From Visiting Yelwata, Headed To Jos Instead Suspected APC thugs waylaid Peter on the Airport road in Makurdi, wielding different weapons and insisted he is not welcomed in the state. The police presence did not deter them until Obi and his convoy returned to the airport and headed for Jos. Obi was visiting the people of Yelwata in Benue to empathise with them over the terrorists attacks they've suffered. The state governor Alia is on record to have barred Peter Obi from visiting the IDP Camps In the state without the government's approval as the governor says Obi is politicising the insecurity by openly fraternising with the victims. The thugs today executed that ban. A lot of people have been reacting to the incident. While some condemned the state governor for sponsoring hostilities against Obi, other are asking if he is indeed ready to face the huge machinery of APC in 2027 i he allowed some hired thugs stop him from visiting a place in Nigeria.
