Beneath The Gryphon's Wing by Novy Roo

Alice has returned to Wonderland, but she is no longer the child they remember. Time has carried her beyond the looking glass, while Wonderland has remained suspended inside its memories. The Gryphon, loyal guardian of every crown and king, watches the grown Alice approach and discovers a longing powerful enough to make him betray the throne he once protected. Beneath his great golden wing, beyond the Queen’s sight, Alice finds sanctuary, and something far more dangerous. The Mock Turtle waits beside the midnight foam, mourning what has vanished and recognising what Wonderland must now accept, the child they knew is gone. Beneath the Gryphon’s Wing is a sensual gothic romance about forbidden shelter, loyalty, transformation and two lonely souls finding a secret kingdom of their own. From the dark Alice in Wonderland concept this song joins others in the new album 'When Wonderland Grew Teeth'. Original lyrics by Novy Roo © Music created with Suno
