Exodus 1-7 | Slavery in Egypt to the First Plague | Read With Me

Read along with me as we begin the book of Exodus, chapters 1 to 7, from Israel’s slavery in Egypt to Moses’ confrontation with Pharaoh and the first plague. 📖 Passage: Exodus 1 to 7 📚 Translation: NIV ⏱ Length: about 29 minutes In this reading: Israel multiplies in Egypt and is oppressed under a new king. Moses is born, saved from the Nile, and flees to Midian. God calls Moses at the burning bush, and Moses and Aaron stand before Pharaoh. Pharaoh hardens his heart, the work gets harsher, and the first plague strikes the Nile. The Bible text appears on screen as I read, so you can follow along word by word.
