Baha al-Din Naqshband: The Master of Bukhara | Sufi Biography

Who was Baha al-Din Naqshband, the master whose name gave rise to one of the world’s great Sufi orders? Born near Bukhara in 1318, Naqshband taught a sober path of silent remembrance, lawful work, companionship and “solitude in the crowd” — outwardly with people, inwardly with God. This video explores his life, the Khwajagan tradition, silent dhikr, the eleven principles of the Naqshbandi path, and the later spread of the order from Central Asia across the Islamic world.
