Montserrat Monastery Spain in 2 Routes: Santa Maria Abbey or Pilgrimage Path to Crue de Sant Miquel

I've visited the mountain of Montserrat, Spain, before the pandemic, and came back again when it's quieter. But one frequently asked question is, 'Do I have to be a Catholic or Christian to find wonders in Montserrat?' I’ve set out 2 routes so you could decide for yourself! Route 1 goes to the Benedictine monastery, Santa Maria de Montserrat, where the ‘Black Madonna’ (La Moreneta) has been placed since the 12th or 13th century. Route 2 follows the pilgrimage path to Crue de Sant Miquel, via the Souvenir Shop & Museum where we learn about one of the oldest boys' choirs in Europe, Escolania de Montserrat. Enjoy! ******* ^Song 1: Cantata, BMV 208: IX.
