This product of the mid 1980's is a "head turner". It is a 12 digit frequency counter that will measure in 3 Bands, the frequency spectrum from 10Hz all the way up to a wopping 26.5Ghz!
Features:
10Hz to 26.5 Ghz in 3 bands
10Hz to 100Mhz Band 1 1meg ohm impedance
25mv sensitivity, 120v max below 1Khz, decreasing 6dB/octave to
3v rms max
10Mhz to 1Ghz Band 2 50 ohm nominal
-20dBm sensitivity, max level +10dBm
1Ghz to 26.5Ghz Band 3 50 ohm nominal
-30dBm 1Ghz to 12.4Ghz, -25dBm 12.4Ghz to 18Ghz
-20dBm 18Ghz to 22Ghz -15dBm 22 to 26.5Ghz
Large 12 Digit Display can display down to the Hz
A front panel Sample Rate knob to adjust gate and display time
Through use of the Front Panel Keyboard you can:
Choose your display units as Mhz of Ghz
Pick one of 9 resolutions for the display
Multiply the captured frequency by an integer between 1 and 99 and display it
Set Frequency Limits
Perform up to 5 System Tests
Add or Subtract an Offset number to the captured frequency down to
the Hz
Calculate and display an mX + b function of the frequency
The rear panel has:
A bnc port for an external timebase input
A switch to select either internal or external timebase
An AC operating voltage switch
Standard computer style 3 prong cord receptacle
This unit has been cleaned, the TCXO calibrated, and this video was made of it's calibration, and operation, on all 3 bands from 10Hz to 9Ghz (the max of my generators).
