Our walk begins as the village is waking up, avoiding the intense summer heat and tourist crowds. Starting from the parking area, we head up the lift to Plaza del Frontón and wander through the labyrinth of narrow, cobblestone streets. Along the way, we pass the historic Santa María Church, walk along Calle del Alcalde Jacinto, and take in the breathtaking panoramic views from the Gran Mirador at Plaza Nueva. We finish our peaceful morning route exploring the area around the Ayuntamiento (Town Hall) and the historic Plaza del Parterre. No music, no talking. Just the real, grounding sounds of footsteps echoing on historic stone, distant morning birds, and the gentle coastal breeze. Please feel free to express your feelings in the comments.
